I just changed out my rack on my 98.. and used poly bushings.. I have a 10K lift and air tools... the rack itself took about 2hrs.. the other 3 of the 5 it took was messing around with the dam steering coupler getting it out then setting the steering straight after hahahah I highly recommend...

did mine early last year... if I remember correctly the part was around $100 or so form some link I found here or ebay... took an hr to do as I couldnt get the snapped off chunk out... it got cocked in there haha..

first thing to check... glove compartment.... 9/10 issues when working at a dealership with this thing happening was the glovebox light.. hope you sort it out... I suck at electrical or Id have more to offer....

any reason you have Aussie plates on the front?? is that legal when you rear is normal US plate?!?!?! not sure if I ever read why... curious as I am from QLD originally
