Sighi, I just picked up some parts from a buddy's place. Got a hood, couple of doors, front grill, rear glass, some side glass. All in good condition. I could get some pics if we can make sense with the logistics.

Smog gear intact, it's a 3fe so no carb, fuel injection.

I feel pretty certain that my TDC is set correctly. I have set it at least 10 times now to be sure. Distributor I believe is set correctly(according to the diagram in the FSM), timing mark on the drive plate appears to be correct. The fuel pump is new, filter is new, all injectors are new...

It appears that I couldn't really attach the drive plate incorrectly in terms of its rotative position. I believe there is a positioning post that I would have had to line up in order to fasten it to the crank flange.
