    Winch power / ground questions

Guess i could share some photos. @ARJMN hooked me up and helped me get the cables sorted. He also saw that my bracket was probably not gonna work and be a really tight fit to connect the controller. He fabed up a new bracket like nothing. The wires are all clamped to the body and its all solid...

    Clutch issues or my imagination.

@2mbb So the clutch works fine without having to pump it it just feels soft. There is definitely pressure building up when I do pump it a few times. But yea it works fine all the time. I am thinking the booster/master might need to get replaced or rebuilt.

    Clutch issues or my imagination.

I have a 87 HJ61 which I try to drive every other week. The clutch pedal seems very soft on it now, like very easy to push. First time I noticed I bled the system and it felt normal but driving today it feels soft again. If I pump on the pedal it will get more firm but that goes away. There are...

its all 2 gauge. The ground and power cables will be small in length so should not have a need to go bigger. I’ll definitely get some penetrox as well.

    Winch power / ground questions

@69FJ40HILIX damn man thanks for the info! My battery is set up the same way as you. I think i might try the ground to frame with the supplied wires and see how it goes before i dive into the longer cables to the battery. What 15k winch is that? I have a m15000 that i need to rebuild that...

    Winch power / ground questions

I am thinking about buying a bolt on bucket for the battery and just add it to the front of the bed. I have a toolbox that i will probably cut a hole in so there is room for the battery and box. Was going to put it in the box completely but i want to be able to remove the box as well.

    Electrical cable makers in Tucson?

@ARJMN that would be awesome! This is heavy duty wires so I do not have that capability to make them. I need to relocate a winch controller. 3-4’ of cable required for that. I am not sure what gauge that is, still doing research. Then I need 10-12’ of 2g or 0g to run the power/ground to...

Anyone know or recommend any local places that make heavy duty electrical cables in tucson? Need 2 roughly 12’ cables to run from a winch to battery. Trying to locate something local if possible. Thanks!!
