Yes its got the hard top. The guy told me that it had a V8 in it and thats what recked the tranny. His buddy wanted the V8 so they took it out and just put the original in the back. I really don't think he understands what kind of vehicle he has because he kept calling it a jeep. Any other...

The vehicle is located about an hour away from where I live. Hopefully make it out that way next weekend. What else should I look for?

I just recently found a 78 40. It's got all of the doors windows engine. The engine is in the back not hooked up. The owner said it was rebiult 5000 miles ago. The frame is rusted but not that bad. Not sure what else to look for. The guy wants a grand for it and just looking for a little advise...

Does anyone know if the fj trail teams have lift kits on their fjs. I noticed that they had arb bumpers on the front and was wondering if they were just on the stock shocks?

Anyone used any after market racks that connect to the stock roof rack? Kayak carrier,bike rack etc...

Hey anyone know where to get a roof rack? I had seen one on an fj but can't remember where. It only had two smaller bars near the rear of the truck and also had a yakima rack connected to it. If anyone can help point me in the right direction it would be great.:beer:
