The seller was making it sound like it came with the 5 speed. 1986 TOYOYA LAND CRUISER

I have found a 1986 cruiser for sale and the seller has it as a "Rare Factory 5 speed" Did Toyota put a 5 speed in a FJ60 in the US? Haven't talked with the seller just saw the ad.

It is a M101A1, I like the M101 trailers also. At this time I have 2- M101A3's, 1-M101A1 and 1-M101A2.

Did you buy it? Heck I may be interested. I'm in Southeastern NC.

Keep in mind I am new at this LC stuff but has anyone ever just replaced there front axle housing with a narrowed Dana 44 High pinion or regular D44 axle housing. Seems it would take care of all the birfield problems.

Yes it has and more than that after I was able to go see it in person. The birfields were making way more noise than he had told me and caked with grease. He had pressure washed the whole under side and engine "so whoever bought it could see it was not leaking oil" REAL REASON was to clean...

Thanks for all of the comments. The color is not my favorite but it will have to do. I do plan on doing all the work that I can myself, there weren't many things on the jeep that I didn't do. Springs over axles, swapped axles to Scout d44's, ring and pinions, tilited knuckles for (+) caster...
