How far are you going away from a city? You will still get ABC on AM a fair way out but you can forget about FM. If going really remote i would suggest a HF radio. A second hand Barrett or Codan rig would be ideal.

If you think calling out your silly whining re: lack of towing mode and location of the 7-pin connector is apologizing for Toyota, then you should strongly re-evaluate who has their head in the sand.

Based on your pic, that rust may need a harder look. Lots going on that has me on edge.

Try reading the posts above first, if that fails next step would be to go to a shop.
