The front axle was taken off for a new coating. I just changed the pinion oil seal. My biggest problem is that there are no shops for parts on my island. I have to order everything online from the U.S. When I take a bearing out, or rebuild the knuckles, I can't wait 3 weeks to get the new parts...

Hi Guys, Just trying to do some work on the front section of my rig and I'm having some problems getting the Aisin Hubs off. I first rotate the dial a couple of times from free to lock and back. Then when removing to bolts, I double check that it is in FREE... When pulling on the hub cover...

Ahhh, now I know what you mean. Look at the pic. It's my new Holley on a conversion base I got from Ebay. This guy had a Holley on his 2F and sold the adaptor to me. It's clearly got 2 (!?!) vacuum ports, which he closed with a small tube. This would be the point you're talking about... Well...

Anyway, got myself a very sweet deal on a new Holley 350 2bbl carb. I've put in extended jets, 10,5 powervalve, ventbaffle and a electric choke. I'm installing the Holley next month. The Aisin carb is going in the box as backup. I will do some testing with a manifold Y tube hook-up on my vacuum...
