I used the cheap Beck Arnley switch and a year later its "spinning" (when screwed in, connector still turns). The switch is intermittent. If I wiggle/rotate the connector it will function properly. I may have to bite the bullet and get the correct switch from a dealer and see if it hold up better.

Maybe the trail will wet sand some of the rust off my sliders.

I live on the coast it’s more like rust to dust.

I am, still depending on snow melt. If it is still a no go I will do a lower elevation trail like slick rock and sour grass or even a warm trip to the Mojave (I have good AC).
