Thanks. I got it all sorted. I was surprised how much carbon/soot had built up considering it's a fairly new Landcruiser (2011). I was also surprised it made the window motor run faster by 20-25%

Sorry, Auto correct changed it to contractors on me. I did mean contacts. I removed the switch cover easy enough but couldn't fin the part the everyone seamed to be cleaning copious amounts of black stuff out of. Do i have to actually unscrew the main body and go from there?

I'm hoping one of you lads might be able to help me. I did the diode mod but couldn't work out how to get to the contractors. Do I need to take it apart further?
