I have 2 t-cases. The one I'm rebuilding and a damaged one I'm taking parts from for this rebuild.
So I took apart my old damaged t-case and swapped the output shaft into the case I'm rebuilding.
Anyways I personally installed these bearings into the damaged case...
So I've torn apart a transfer case and I've come across what looks like a spun bearing
That journal bearing is supposed to be inside a big gear, but was stuck to the shaft when I pressed the gear off. It should look like this gear below.
So I've got a question, can I pull the main shaft out...
Appreciate the information. This trans is from a no history high mile truck. I would be more comfortable knowing the big bearings were replaced.
But if it is a sonofagun, then I'm not gonna try.
It just looked real simple on first inspection, 2 c-clips.
I would still like to do the output...
I'm currently refurbishing a transfer case because of oil migration between the trans and xfer.
While I'm in there, I was wondering if I could replace any bearings on the h55f.
Is it possible to just pop the c-clip and replace the main input bearing? Or does it require being pressed on and off...
I've seen a few names tossed around, I thought topnault was just an importer.

Any real world reviews would be appreciated.
I'm not interested in a gozzard, aqualu or south American tub.
Hey Jon! Same old going ons over here,
When I rebuilt my knuckles many years ago I damaged the spacer and just threw in a new one that came with my rebuild kit. I didn't know it was used to center the axle, it took awhile, but now the seal is gone, so I have to replace it, and I want to make...
I'm not too sure what to do about the alignment of the body to the fenders. Both fenders are inset considerably from the tub. Probably 1/2"
There is no play in the bolts to adjust. And I'm not sure if the hood will fit with how wide the vent panels are.
I could shave the firewall and pull in...
I've got some "rebuilt" injectors sitting on a spare engine. I was going to pull them this winter and install them in my truck to see if that solves anything.
The other thing I was going to try this winter is replace the fuel pump diaphragm. But apparently when that thing is faulty it results in...
