Factory location but as I mentioned above, an appropriate washer in conjunction with that tool makes overdrive'n easy. Inner axles are also affordable relative to the cost of parts/labor to dig in that far.

Got my tires rotated and balanced. Ordered gear oil, and ordered new diff plugs from cruiser outfitters.

In case you aren't aware, It is always best to replace the diff oil seals and hub drive flanges when installing new cv axles.
