With the big winch and cut off mounts that look like they were for an aframe or rear boom, this.thing was.either a towtruck, or way more likely, a log.skidder for the woods. Just my thought. But, can anyone confirm w certainty its an fj55?

Lol could be...looks so factory. Too clean on the engine mounts. And who puts an f motor in anything lol

Its drum brake x4, with f motor, and parking brake on transfer.

You are totally right on a lot of those points. The engine serial for the f series makes.it a 73_74 fj per.the registry on cool cruisers site, but ya, the other points are valid. But does that make it An fj55?

Thanks for your input ! And, dont be so closeminded about the NUMBER of leaf springs. My new tacoma has three leaf spprings and rides very smooth. It cant carry any payload, but it rides super smooth. By yoru logic, a 60s dumptruck with like 15 to 20 leaves should ride super smooth but we all...
