200 series LC - take off the fender flares?

Only by the thickness of the fender flare part that slides in to be secured by the screws. So a minimal (maybe 1/8 of an inch) intrusion into the wheel well. So combined, adding both sides you may lose a 1/4" at most. Looking at my Yoda, it looks cleaner and like there is more space now, but I...

200 series LC - take off the fender flares?

After a round-trip last weekend of 10+ hours each way to Branson, Missouri (from Pearland, TX.) and back...It had to be done. Today on the highway at 90 mph, quiet as can be...huge difference. But, at minimum, it's gonna take some touch up paint. I'll have to see how the door pieces come off...

200 series LC - take off the fender flares?

Mine were making noise as well. Took them off today. Unfortunately paint is gone is some places. I don't really want them on because they also trap debris when going off-road. The decision now is do I complete the job by taking off the door pieces (which look glued on only) or do I put them all...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Pulled off fender flares for in depth cleaning...now thinking about leaving them off for good. I like the way it looks with my new K02s. Just not sure how the door piece will come off. Looks like tape only, so not sure what paint damage is possible.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

The (Motivx) filter housing removal tool and the (MOCW) brass drain tool make a big difference when you do an oil change on the 200s...you can get both on Amazon. I change out my oil drain plug gasket every time as well. Hope this helps.

Good call. It's a nice upgrade. I did to my 2011 as well. Just had to switch out the tube, easy enough...

    Texas 200 Series owners

Got my 2011 rig in November 2020. I looked for years before I bought this one. Got it from Philpott Toyota in Nederland. I didn't believe how clean it was on pictures so I took a shot and drove there. As they say, the rest is history. It was a one owner with under 50,000 miles and all...

    Texas 200 Series owners

I think I saw your rig on 35 between Bay City and Van Vleck a few days ago.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Are your rims the 18" TRD for the Tundra? I was looking at these rims online at Toyota dealers but they say the rims don't fit Land Cruisers, only the Tundra and Sequoia...here is the part number. Thanks

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

That's why I do it all myself. The only reason I needed the flathead screwdriver (in my tool set) for this job was to get the old drain plug gasket off the oil pan. So you are correct, I'm sure the dealer tried to make sure my drain plug was fused with the oil pan. I did buy new gaskets for the...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Here you go. Let me know if you have any questions about the list. I found that this dealership has the best prices. I live Pearland, Texas and always get my packages from them within 5 days or less. The other stuff is from Amazon. You will be able to find them easy there.

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

First oil change on my 2011. Bought my LC last November with a little under 50,000 miles from a Toyota dealer in southeast Texas. It was a trade-in on a new one. One owner, clear carfax and the dealer had service records since it was purchased and maintenanced there. First, took off entire...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Don't sell, never-ever! You'll regret it for the rest of your life. Our 200s will be sought after for years to come. Keep it in good, clean condition and you'll be able to sell it anytime for more than what you paid for it. I bought mine last year, a 2011 with around 49,800 miles in excellent...
