Good point. I do have 5 80 Series alloys that I could switch out. They need to be cleaned up and coated. That would drop about 100 pounds off the truck.
Back from the off road test loop at the cabin. Confirmed 4WD, low range, and cable difflock functions. I pulled the roof rack off to reduce drag. The Kimberley is a fat gal.
Just got back from the shake-down loop. She's slow like I rememberd. On the other hand, the journey IS the destination. The trailer is just over 3,000 pounds. That's a big ask of a 3.4 liter turbo diesel.
