Is there a problem with the mini truck PS because my truck is a 69? I didn't find anything on this, but read a article elsewhere that its more work on the older trucks. Is this true?

I was looking on CCOT and they have the 6% shims for a 2.5" higher shackle. No there is no lift on the cruiser right now. And yes I did search first, but the questions I want answered were not where I could find them. What are the pros and cons of higher shackles? Thanks

I was looking at putting new shackles on my 69 fj40. I wanted to put the 2.5" longer ones to get a little more clearance. Are these going to work OK, I was going with a 6% shim with them. What are the pros and cons of longer shackles. Thanks

Yes it was.

I should call to find out anyway, I was over there looking at a body and frame from a 73. It had been in a fire but the metal was in decent shape. It was in peices.
