fixed it
hey, my cruiser started up today. turned out to be a loose ground on the starter that i didn't see. thanks for all of your help guys i am sure to be back soon with more questions and after a while maybe add my two cents. i am wicked stoked

so i am puttering on the car today and i found that i am getting spark to the lower points of the dizzy, but not on the cap or to the plugs. i disconnected the condenser just in case it is faulty. unfortunately it won't turn over. i am pretty stumped.

the dude from wally's stopped by my place today while i was at work and left his card. pretty crazy if you ask me, kinda like a "if you build it they will come" sort of thing. nuts.
