Is the exauhst manifold supposed to have a separation above of the the bolts? Is that a crack or by design. Looks like the end one for sure it is hard to see others without taking it apart. Also leak seams to quite down quite a bit after it gets warmed up.

Bummer - at muffler shop new CAT, muffler, and all 2.5 pipe with chrome tip exiting at near rear tire like the guy earlier in the thread showed me... 375.00 :(

when I get it back I will try all the suggestions. Temp on day of guage hitting hot was about 31 degrees. Is the idiot gauge suppose to go over mid way? Thanks

Im being told the CAT is unneeded expense since it will never go through DEQ again and also restricts flow. .... I think it is 200-300 dollars? I have hot rods and ditch CATs typically - no Toyotas however.. Are any of the vehicles systems monitoring or requiring the CAT to be there that...

I topped off the overflow today and took it for a spin to the front end shop. It ran below half way of mid gauge the entire drive, about 17 miles. No problems and heater blew hot. Did not try to let idle for 30 mins like prior. I will when I get the vehicle back. Both Knuckes are leaking...

Hello - I have never owned a FJ60 and just got one last week. Found this forum - SCORE! Need some help. Letting it sit running in driveway, temp guage climed almost to H and no heat through heater... It was 30 degrees out ... does that matter? What should I check first. Thanks!
