Very nice work to date! I am hoping that I can get the FJ62 that I am waiting on paperwork completion.

1988 FJ62 in my house...My first Land Cruiser (hopefully!)

UPDATE on purchase... will not be able to transfer ownership tomorrow Wednesday. Found out that the truck has a donor engine, and is not registered. The gentleman found all of the paperwork, and will commence the registration process tomorrow, as the engine has to come for a "decommissioned"...

Frame looks good. I managed to get under the truck for a bit, and it did look nice.

Undercoating for spraying for inside the truck? Or for the underside? Or both? Thanks

Thank you all for your input. Yes, it is not a perfect truck, but I got around to lifting carpets and such, but obviously not able to do a "50 point certification inspection." I am pretty sure it has bondo in some places, but being in the south of Puerto Rico, a very arid area, I am hoping it...

Hello! I am pretty sure it has had work on it, but it seems to have been good work. I do know it has bondo on some places; the owner was honest enough to tell me that he dinged the front right bumper fender, and if you look into the fender (inner side) you can see the fender wasn’t damaged...

1988 FJ62 in my house...My first Land Cruiser (hopefully!)

    1988 FJ62

Well, I don't really know what to say. Truck body was solid, or at least it looked like it. No rust visible whatsoever, but the paint was horrible, faded and peeling. Chassis was a beauty, but the auto tranny was leaking like a sieve, and it was also leaking motor oil between the rear block...

    1988 FJ62

Hello Guys! New to the forum, although I have surfed it every now and then... In a nutshell, I've been offered a 1998 FJ62, and I will check it out tomorrow. The seller says that the unit has 208,000 miles, and according to the single pic (link attached), it has original wheels, and looks...
