Need Help with putting engine back together.

Well, I REALLY hate to tell ya this, but I'm pretty sure you're gonna have to pull the upper intake back off to get that one line installed that goes to the bottom of the lower intake. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure you'll have to pull the fuel filter to get it to bolt up to the side of...

Long wheelbase and toy front end

Schnikes! 132"?? I have to assume that someone made it that long!? I have a 85 Toy PU that I've stretched to 122" and it's about right on 37's for what I crawl over, do get caught from time to time but nothing that a flat belly wouldn't cure! ...about to have to flat belly it since the cross...

Holiday C-Gap run Tucson Dec 30 or 31

Not sure if the front axle you have is the same as in my 85 "mini" truck, but Trail Gear and Marlin Crawler both sell rebuild kits... IIRC, TG is a little cheaper... :bounce::bounce2:

Hey guys/gals, Just wanted to throw out a big Thank You to everyone that was out there today! Alvin, thanks for putting this together, I know what a hassle it can sometimes be to be "the guy in charge", so Thanks! Everyone, thanks for making us "mini-truck" guys welcome! We had a great time...

Oh, you guys are funny! ...I run all the obstacles both ways, up and down!:grinpimp:...time permitting of course. ...I guess I could run them in reverse, never occurred to me to try though, I can probably back up most obstacles except the bump dump, not enough weight in the back to get...

:whoops: Got it! Ok, so I'm not paying attention half the time! :grinpimp: I just assumed South to North since that's the only way I've ever run it! It'll be nice to run backwards! Later, Chad

Just verifying we're still on for this weekend... ?? ...and all this is still correct. "December 30th Meet at the Oracle Circle K at 8 a.m. for airdown and an 8:30 pull out. CB 4" ...assuming that you mean the Circle K on Golder Ranch/Oracle? Later, Chad

Then I'm all over it! ...unless I find that I've blown another set of rear end gears like I'm suspecting.... got a nice little vibe in the rear after Chiva this last weekend. Really romping on it at Three Feathers. Gotta check that out this week, I might be able to get a set installed...

parking brake drags on leaf spring after lift install

Yeah, yeah, yeah... Just joined, give me time! ;-) I see lots of lifted trucks here in Tucson, many of which are running blocks, some even in the front! I just shake my head and cringe... of course these are the same trucks that have never seen dirt much less rocks and typically have more...

parking brake drags on leaf spring after lift install

Not trying to be a dill hole here, but I hope youre not planning on wheeling this at all... blocks are about the worst thing you could have put on it to wheel! If youre gonna wheel it, pick up some el cheapo springs and shocks.... just wheel it! :D Now if all you wanted was some lift to make...

Builds My Bad 91 Runner on 39.5's (should have got 42's)

Just joined this forum, and I just gotta say that that's one sweet rig you got there! Especially considering the hoops you gotta jump through with your DMV and such! Living here in Arizona, I just cringe at the site of dunking a rig in mud... I just see that as a 2-3 days of clean...

How much lift is too much?

New guy here, but I'd really suggest just saving up your funds to get a good set of inexpensive (aka - cheap) springs to do a proper lift... I'm running a el cheapo set of Pro-Comp springs and they have done me well for the last year or so... started off with a bone stock 85 PU, did the lift...
