This is huge - I'd usually take test drives with my customers when trying to figure stuff like this out. Depends on how much time they have (and you I guess). I don't know how much that'll help, but some food for thought.
Good luck, brother!
Listen to these guys and TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't hurt yourself.
Edit: It wasn't too tough alone, but I took it slow. Not by function, but out of paranoia.
Looking for Driver Front inside door panel (w/o speaker of course) - I need the inside door open handle bezel with that too, also rear tailgate handle, center console please - thank you!
FWIW, last time this happened to me, it was actually the Spindle bushings in the front axle. Exact same condition to recreate my noise. It was intermittent for a couple weeks, then started happening like crazy.
I'm not entirely sure, but IIRC, 80-series brakes aren't the best at dissipating heat. A burning smell, however, isn't something I've experienced on similar downgrades. Maybe search for LSPV (Load Sensing Proportioning Valve) issues. Maybe you're @ 100% front brakes on decline?
Hopefully that...
In my experience, the tires you have on are awesome - and their a solid size. The picture looks like you have a ton of tread depth, and I've had customers put 110k mi on those things on lesser part-time 4WD/2WD only trucks.
I'd do sliders and that is it.
If you're super worried about getting...
^^This is so key for that front axle!
Also don't forget the spindle bushings like I did...on my DD. I stopped half of I-290 rush-hour traffic into Chicago because of how f***ing loud it was :bang:, and I think I was pretty lucky to not cause any other damage.
I could be wrong, but doesn't USPS still have to fulfill for places FedEx/UPS won't go?
Also I've never had a problem with Wit's End, but I agree with @clx16 - shipping has been super wonky lately for a lot of things.
