    carb adjustment

    Thanks guys. Sounds like my accelerator pump because it seems to be sticking and not pumping well.

    carb adjustment

    I just rebuilt the carb on my 79 FJ. When I press the accelerator pedal the carb makes a suction sound and the engine starts to die. It starts and idles fine. Is it too lean, too rich or what? I know, I should have used a pro. Need help guys. :-\
