I bought a set of 17" rims from TOYOTA - https://www.stealthcustomseries.com/collections/toyota. They have the right offset for a FJ40 and I have 35 12.5 tires mounted. They also fit the hub diameter.

I hear if you flip your bezel it not only cools better but it also will bring praise and salutations from all the cruiser heads. Will sell higher on BAT too.

The mileage is ‘smiles’ per gallon🤣🤣🤣. However, the aux tank holds 20 gallons and I can make 3, 35 mile trips to my job site and back (70 miles round trip)….so 3 x 70 = 210, so just over 10 MPG. Maybe more, maybe less….20 miles of the trip is 60...

I have no problem doing 80 with 2 fingers on the wheel in my 40 with 2.5” lift and 33’s. Proper setup and good condition parts.

My '75 has a shackle reversal installed by the P.O, ... of unknown manufacture. Must have been a helluva' good installation, as I have caught myself several times at nearly 80 mph on the interstate, ... with perfect control and stability!
