Turns out 2f valve cover grommets work for wiper motor packing too. I dont recall what if anything was used for the interior fasteners for either a packing or a spacer, as i don't think the gap was quite as large with the oe rubber gasket.

Mount the drinks holder on the backside...works surprisingly well.

it has zinc in it, but i wouldnt say it has alot of zinc in it.....that was reduced 10 or 15 years ago.
