Mine has recently turned itself on and will not shut off. I'm also getting a "Maint Required...See Dealer" message along with it. Just started a week ago. 2016, 160k miles. Owned since new. I have had the windshield replaced - Toyota glass, done at dealer by glass installer 2 yrs ago...
I had the same bad luck with a similar cracked front camera lens from a rock or similar road hazard. Looks like $800-ish for the part. Is this plug and play or does it really need recalibration?
Funny how I've been noticing my '16 LC has been blowing icy-AC air all winter at startup w Climate Control Set at 72 when it used to seem to let the engine warmup, THEN the blowers would start up gently blowing warm.
Seems to fit the recent "Customer Support Program 20TE01" note I just got in...
Appreciate the comment on the 4Runner. I've also got a '15 4Runner but there's not half as much going on in the windshield as the LC. Wiper defrosters, specific Radar shiz for the cruise control, automatic wiper sensor wiring, etc.
Having it done by the dealers recommended installer while at...
Just ahead of my state inspection I took a small rock to windshield on the freeway...started to crack immediately. Local dealer recommended a solid installer they use. Got the quote from them. They use Pilkington as their OEM alternative. Toyota glass is approx $925-950 and Pilk is $500...

I've got 17,000 miles on a set bought in May'17. Mostly beltway commuting, some offroading to hunting spots in the shenandoah valley and farm mud. I WILL say...they just decided to go off their wet pavement grip. Noticeably. Nice 40mph 4-wheel drifts on off ramps if theres ANY moisture on...
My radio/entertainment system just stopped working while on the highway the other day. Would work for 2-3 seconds after choosing another preset or function, then go silent. Has only done this once and worked fine after restarting the car. At the dealership now--they're loading an updated...
I just paid $79K against an $85+ window sticker at a dealer in Richmond. Prob the best new car sales experience I've had. Purchased in June. They'd had it on the lot since early April. Drove down from NoVa.
I was dropping by to check on the "Best A/T tire for the current 200s"
