I guess the last owner got an exhaust from a 98-01 LC then and just coverd the check engine light. what an idiot.

mine is an 02, I read it with Techstream, and the check engine light has glue over it before I got the car and the light is on for O2 heater circuit, thats why its super confusing

Does it have O2 sensors? My gulf spec throwing a check engine for it but the exhaust isn't stock and no wires exist for an O2, super confusing. Thanks!

Maybe look into Techstream, much cheaper and full access to everything in your LC. all you need is a $20 cable, and look in the forum for a Techstream download

Unplug the oil pressure wire from the sender and connect it to ground and start the engine, if it reads high on the dash you need a new sender.

If it is the abs system. Look into the pressure accumulator, many threads about on this forum. I rebuilt my MC and rewound my pressure pump, cost was less than $100, and it was easy work.

I have a gulf spec 2002 with the OEM swingout. There is a light on the dash for the swing out. (an old image I found on the forums) I found the switch on the rear tailgate but the wire has been cut (the last owner had issues with electric connections). I can't find the wire I should splice into...
