My 2017 landcruser which I bought brand new got a new transmission at 7500 miles. Toyota extended my warranty and I was ok with that. It took almost a month in the shop to repair.

My dealership has a 3rd party install them but then it goes back to the dealer to program the sensors. Travelers insurance only wanted to put after market in mine but the installer pushed back and got them to approve the oem. They did it for my deductible of $100

That is good news! my dealer has had mine for 25 days now. Gdnly knows what is taking so long , they say waiting on parts. In the meantime I am putting tons of miles on their brand new camery hybrid which isn’t a bad car actually.

So, are they going fix it on their dime?

****UPDATE*** ok- so the dealer calls me in today and lets me know that they can't find a problem. I asked to speak to the tec working on my LC . I took him outside and we looked at the trapdoor behind the glovebox and wouldn't you know...the filter was jammed in there and the mechanism wasn't...

I am using oem on my '17 and they seem fine. the lip isn't like the WT but adequate. They look a lot like the Huskys from the photos posted above.

I have a 2017 lc with a broken windshield in the Seattle area. I was quoted 1200 for the Oem glass, 300 to install and 400 to reprogram the electronics in the windshield. Apparently the car won’t run until the windshield is calibrated. I got this quote from two local dealers.

I bet if you buy the lexus seat, you won't have any problem selling your LC seat to get some of your coin back.

I bet that Lexus seat is expensive!

I had a 2011 bmw 750 that I bought new. The paint was beautiful but seemed to chip easily. The factory tested it after I complained and they told me that bmw had changed to a water based paint and it may not be as durable. I wonder if Toyota has done the same thing.
