The steel is all 3/16th's plate. However, I'm told that because of the geometry of the bumpers they are very strong. They make bumpers for several of the companies that do up-armoring for vehicles in Iraq. Because of this they actually do ballistic and blast testing on their bumpers...

I just had my ROAD ARMOR bumper installed. I've been working with ROAD ARMOR for the past couple of months. (Really, I just let them use my FJ to mock their bumper up on.) But, it is finally done! I really like how it turned out. The bumper on their website is the original prototype so this...

I know this may seem a little silly, but I sure do wish my FJ had heated mirrors. Does anybody know if there is a way to add them?

I've gotten as high at 21 mpg but average (mostly in town) 14-15. With MT and 33" BFG's.

I have a local dealer however, there are also some places on line that they can be ordered. www.trdparts4u.com has them. I also found others by doing a search.

I have seen the OME lift kit shown as 3", 2.5", and 2". Does anybody know what the actual lift height is?

My recollection is the max should be rated for cold PSI. I think most tires even say cold PSI. Wayne

I was kicking around the idea of fabing up a bar across the roof rack but haven't put any time of energy into it yet. Maybe someone else has done something.
