Question: OME lift height

You can expect a full 3" of lift. I installed 886 front springs, ARB Bumper and an M8000 winch and I was at 3.25" after the install. 2k+ miles later and some settling and I'm at 3.125" of lift in front. In the rear I installed 896 springs and achieved 2.75" of lift and it has not settled at all.

I have a local dealer however, there are also some places on line that they can be ordered. www.trdparts4u.com has them. I also found others by doing a search.

What springs, shocks, struts did you use?
I just installed the OME lift this weekend. I used OME suspension kit put together by Man-A-Fre and I'm getting right at 2" lift on front and 2.125" on rear:
rear springs OME895 (medium) and rear shocks N142
front springs OME886 (heavy) and front struts N140S
Oh and I have an All-Pro front bumper, but no winch yet. Stock rear bumper. Rock rails are not installed currently (retouching paint). So shouldn't I be near 3" based on your install/observations?
Seems like the heights vary some even with the same springs.

I'm not sure why some folks are seeing different lift numbers. I was pretty particular about measuring mine before and after, so I'm confident that my number are correct for my FJ. There are a number of folks on the FJCruiserForums board that have also seen 3" of lift from the same configuration. I also spoke with ARB and they achieved a full 3" of lift on their FJ.
Originally I installed 885 springs because the 886's were not available. With the 885 springs I only got around 1.875" of lift after settling. This was with my ARB Bull Bar and M8000 winch. Is it possible that a set of 885 were installed?
I have the following installed:
Front: 886 springs with N140S struts
Rear: 896 springs with N71E shocks
ARB Bumper + Warn M8000 Winch
Yeah, I just got off the phone with ARB to see what they thought of the "net" height gain disparities. The best answer given was they expect the kit to give you about 2" of lift, but the real quality identifier of their product is a better ride and performance off road. I got no qualms about getting 2" instead of 3".
The other important thing to remember is that your before measurements may vary with what you put the stock suspension through. In other words, was your stock suspension pretty well worn, or did it just come off the lot? An FJC with pretty heavy usage may have sagged a bit, so the height difference may be greater.
For a more thorough statistical comparison, my stock suspension had about 8500 miles on it and approximately 100 miles of that was "off pavement".
Once I install a winch (m8000), I expect the front to drop 1/4" to 1/2". So, I'll end up more with the stock rake angle when all is said and done. If I install any rear armor, then I may consider upgrading the 895/N140S setup. Yet, that is another discussion...

I notice now with the stock suspension with 3K miles on it I get tossed around quite a bit on the freeway in the wind, even when going 60 MPH.
And going wheeling a month back the long mountain highway leading up to where we were going was pretty curvy.
Rig did not feel super stable in the turns.
I hope the adition of the new lift and spings also tightens up the feel of it on the road.

Amount of lift varies with which OME coils you use. In general, the lower the part number, the shorter the spring and the less lift. I only wanted to lift my front about 1-1/2" and I accomplished that nearly perfectly with OME 883 coils. 884's, 885's, 886's will all yield more lift.
I just installed my OME lift last weekend. I put 886 front/896 rear, and re-used the stock struts and springs. I got over 3"....closer to 3.5". But I dont' have my aftermarket bumpers, skids, sliders on yet. I also have 15 000km on it, with about half of that offroad.
I wouldn't suggest doing this just to get the lift without adding the bumpers. It is quite stiff without that added weight of the bumpers, etc. If lift was wanted, but no bumpers, 885/895's or even softer would be better.

All springs will have a break in period. Stock springs will settle a bit, too. Especially with extreme use, like what I have put mine through. I didn't measure mine when I first got it, but I could always go measure one at the dealership.
mine (886/895) was real stiff and bouncy ast first. after a week and one good trail test it setteled in a lot as far as ride. I don't kn ow exact lift gained, but I'd estimate 3" without bumper and winch installed.
