The park switch on my stock motor was not working. I started to restore it and found one of the copper leaf contactors under the gear housing was broken. During that time I did some research on a aftermarket wiper motor. I found that one guy used a 00-04 Volve S40 wiper motor but it looked like...

This shows the stock mounting plate. I needed to move the holes about a 1/16". You want to move them so when the motor is mounted it is moved towards the driver side. The metal nipple on the end of the new motor housing barely hit the stock cover.

Removed 1/8" material of each of the 3 mounting posts to make clearance for the motor cover. Barely rubbed.

aftermarket wiper motor Part# 43-1836 minimal work to get it to work. Can use stock mounting plate and cover.

Blue Torch sent me the wrong diff cover and its been a pain in the ass to exchange it. So its for sale. Fits a Rear Toyota 8" ring gear. With a plasma cutter and a little tweaking you could probably get it to work on the front. I paid $110 to my door step. Will sell it for $70 shipped...
