my 1997 FJ80 is starting very strangely, I just replaced the plunger in the starter and the positive contact. The engine used to start without touching the gas pedal, now it seems to need a pump... this morning it blew blue smoke which it has never done before... very strange... any ideas?

just had tran fluid & 2 x diffs flushed and changed..... maybe I should drop by a tranny specialist to have things checked just in case!

after a cold start-up the A/T temp light along with the brake light sometime stay on... the manual says the A/T temp light indicates temps that are too high, does it also indicate temps that are too low... I can hear a whirring sound coming from the the tranny during this time, the sound stops...

I have a 1996 FJ80 in great shape. When either the driver or passenger windows are down partially they rattle in a most annoying way. Is there any way to fix this problem? a simple fix?

anyone have any idea on what this could be? 1996 FJ80 AWD LC auto 111k miles. I just had all the fluids changed at a drive thru including 2x diffs. Weird burning smell happens after long uphill runs? Runs perfectly otherwise...... michael
