    truck used to idle like new around 700rpm. then one day just would not stay running. Very rough running and alittle black smoke when it was reved up. Just would die if I let off the gas.

    I just received a 87 FJ60 with a new crate engine 2f and new 5 speed tranny. I have just put on new 235/75/15 tires and shocks. When I was installing the shocks I noticed that the rear axle sat about 2 1/2" from the bump stop. I am assuming this is due to age and milage (192K). I really don't...

    Was wondering if I could use your expert opion? I have a 87 FJ with around 200K. I am going for a mild stance upgrade. I don't plan to offroad this truck to much.(Maybe very mild trails, very,very mild.) I was wondering if shackles could give me this lift. Please advise.
