Looking to rebuild the front brakes on my land cruiser. The tag in the door says it's a 69, but the title said 70. Not sure if it matters. Where would yall order from to get some quality parts?
Hey guys I’m looking for a header for my cruiser. It’s a 69. The issue is with the stick manifold it is super rusty and the gasket blew out and I don’t think it’s going to go back together. I don’t want to spend a ton and can weld and custom fit it if need be. Does anyone have any options for me?
Is this less work than just pulling the transmission, transfercase and overdrive? Seems like it would be easier to do that but I need to seal some stuff in the overdrive. I’m not worried about the body since it’s already pretty rusty and it’s a 69. No one wants a 69 don’t even have power brakes
Wanting to do my clutch. I want to pull the engine instead of the trans, transfercase, and overdrive unit. Pros and cons? Reason for this is to clean up engine bay and reseal the engine. What do y’all think? Bad idea?
I don’t even know really how to engage it. If I put the transfer case in high the driveshaft locks up to the pto then if I put it in gear the car moves. I’m not sure if I’m missing a lever or something
Any ideas for unlocking a locked pto winch? It doesn’t do anything. When I put the transfercase in high it locks the driveshaft but it still doesn’t spin the winch. The free spool mechanism is also locked up. Thanks!
