Get a butt conector and put it back together.

I did the lower rad hose drain too because I couldn't find the pet cock on the rad. It must be hidden behind something but I never found it and it looked not very accesible.

I've been meaning to disconnect my alarm too. It's by the drivers left foot in the kick panel. Should just be spliced into the harness with those squeeze together connectors. Just un-clip them and you will be free of the noise for good.

Agreed... Especially if it's for the wifey. She will appreciate the comfy ride and you can still use it to tow a trailer or whatever.
