I've been meaning to disconnect my alarm too. It's by the drivers left foot in the kick panel. Should just be spliced into the harness with those squeeze together connectors. Just un-clip them and you will be free of the noise for good.

Hopefully you are dealing with someone face to face. If he/she is reasonable I don't see why you couldn't take everything you put on it, off again and take it home. The book value is just the truck w/o any aftermarket stuff so that should be all they get (IMO)!
