I installed a 3" on mine. I went to 4wheelparts.com and ordered the replacement blocks. They were fairly cheap. They also have 1"-3" small diameter blocks or large diameter blocks. I just went to ACE to get the new bolts.

Your answers are going to vary due to peoples personal prefference. I have an Edlebrock (the old Carter style), I have been told that they are the best once you get them tuned in, however I have seen Holleys and they are able to be tuned without disassembly unlike the Edlebrock. As for...

The LS1 is a 5.7 (350). The tuned port fuel injection that he has is in both 5.0 (305 Chevy) and in 5.7 (350). The Ford 302 is also a 5.0, but I am not sure of the liters on the Chevy 302 of the mid to late 60's, it was offered in some versions of the Camaro.
