It's not the end of the world if your headers have some small cracks and you hear that ticking noise...... Mine have been like that for many years, I just haven't wanted to spend the cash to replace them or the time to replace them, if I decide to tackle the job myself. I have done all the work...

Tons of threads on it, but here is one of them: 100 series exhaust manifold - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/100-series-exhaust-manifold.1188171/
Had to replace the pulley idler earlier today. The engine started making a loud mechanical grinding noise and when I popped the hood it was shooting sparks out of the idler.
I had the same thing happen to me during my starter job about a week ago. The damn starter was completely seized into the block and no amount of penetrating oil or movement would break it free. I didn’t see this post until after I finally finished the job….

The passenger side came out completely fine and all the bolts came out easily as well. The driver side is a...
I've had my Land Cruiser up on jack stands all week replacing the lower ball joints, bearings, races, etc.... Honestly, this has been a bit more work than I expected it to be.
Just ran into my front ABS speed sensor completely stuck in the steering knuckle and it ended up breaking off inside...
