Ha I did literally burn mine out and cut the bolts with a grinder (didn't burn up the whole Cruiser though...)

UPDATE A slipped timing belt was the issue. Right cam was several teeth behind the left. New tension spring is on the way. This is a part that I never thought of regularly replacing but after 35 years it must have gotten too weak

Seems strange both calipers would seize at once unless pressure in the master was building up. Sounds like a full brake system inspection/repair is in order especially if the brake light has been on for awhile (parking brake indicator and low brake fluid level is the same light). That's why I started using Baldwins, I have heard the anti-drainback actually works since they're designed to be used "standing up" and the Wix designed to hang down

I use Baldwin BT251 on my 3FE, it is quite a bit taller than the stock filter

Mine did that I finally figured out that the idler shaft in the transfer was worn out.

I use my H55 as a "four speed", usually start in 2nd gear (30 inch tires) and can cruise at 80 on Montana interstates. But, it is nice to have the super low first gear option.
