How far have you driven with it engaged? Sometimes you got to accelerate and release the pedal with some turns to get it to engage. If it still doesn’t light up, pull the plug off the indicator in the tcase and put jumper into the harness side...

Dry ice cleaning followed by laser and coated the axles. Next up, PDR. Any recommendations for the wheel wells now that it's stripped clean? Not sure what used to be there... was thinking rubberized undercoating?

No argument that this is a good idea. I thought about it but didn't want to lose a day waiting for the paint to dry, and I convinced myself that since this is my beater rig I could make peace with it. Also, I was being lazy. Now that you've...

Check your seal there is an insert inside the seal that moves down over time, you have to push it back up to its proper place.

Drove the LX450 to a meeting in Chattanooga, TN today. A total of ca. 250 miles knocked out and with the throttle body, TPS, and cables dialed in plus having the timing set properly it is running very good. Previous mileage with retarded...

Make sure accelerator cable is not sticking, next time it high idle put your foot under the pedal and pull towards you and look and see if throttle body is at it stops

I would also check that your TPS and IACV are in spec and working properly (I've been beating a dead horse with that advice... lol... because it solved the problems the rig was having... which were very much like yours). While you are...

I’ll keep reading, mostly to find out how many more posts it will take to replace a failing/defective radiator. Good luck.

I have a JDM/australian spec 92 . It came with full float rear with disc brakes . But the rotors for the 93 onwards are bigger (diameter: >92 315mm 92-98 336mm) Tryna figure out which parts are the different ones between these models

91 92 come with semi float rear, some 93s have them then in 93 changed to full float, different brakes You would need to install a full float axle to get the disc brakes in back.

I have done 2 in car head gasket jobs, and they kind of sucked. I agree with the others here, just pull it when the time comes. That said, I wouldn't rush it as long as your HG is intact now. Just be certain every heater and radiator hose is...

My old Magnaflow system to my new one. Fit was excellent. Still nice and quiet. Changed out due to a cracked weld on muffler, rusted out bracket on muffler, and what was thought as a clogged cat. 89K miles in 6 years.
