    TRD Wheel and Tire Recall

Has anyone gotten a notification on the recall for the TRD wheels and LT265/75R16 tires? Does anyone know what the reasoning for the recall is. I'm currently stationed overseas and have been unable to call toyota about this yet. thanks

    Timing Chain cover

I have a 2009 FJC with 27k, and i took it to Toyota for oil change. They informed me about oil seeping from my timing chain cover. I asked service guy how bad it was and he said "I've seen people go for 6 months with this problem". Obviously it has to be fixed. Has anyone else dealt/heard of...

    Extra switches.....?

7228: I talked to toyota and they said that the only way they can get that switch is by ordering the whole roof rack light kit witch include the lights, wiring harness, and switch. I know doesnt make any sense. Maybe they are pulling my chain. redfernsoljah: that looks to be what i need, but...

    Extra switches.....?

Does anyone know where I can find extra switches (like the traction control, diff lock, and a-trac) to replace the plugs for off-road lights? I went to Toyota and they don't sell them seperate from the off-road light kit for the FJC. The only ones they could find were for '04 Tacoma, but with...

Please look at this FJ...why the stink bug

The front bumper sets a little lower than the rear usually, but on this one the after market bumper is most likely the cause of this situation; expecially if they left on the stock springs.

    Roofrack lights

I recently purchased an ARB roofrack with light mounts on it. I would like to put some lights on it but I don't want to drill a hole in my roof to run the wiring for them. I have thought of running the wires down in through the door and then under the door seal, but I'm thinking there would be a...

    Deactivating the "TRC"

I believe it is normal for this to happen. I also bought a 2009 FJC and it does the samething. Most likely a safety feature that Toyota has.

Bfgoodrich ta km-2 anybody run them?

Yes. Good tires. I run 285/75r16 on my 09 FJC, no lift. There is no rubbing at all. A little noisy but not too bad. Not the best in snow and ice,(but what is?). Great in mud and off road. Lots of aggression. I enjoy them alot. Hope this helps. Good luck.
