Got my trailer built and ready to start the camper build portion.
Started with a base harbor freight 4x8 then upgraded the axle(3,500lbs) wheels,7pin electrical, added shocks, fully welded to a 5x8, lock n roll hitch.
Thank you to @captainva...
Been a busy week with a couple interesting car projects
1. Rear passenger door lock stopped working altogether, I had replaced the motor 2 years ago so didn't think it was that. Took a chance (didn't do any further testing) and got a $40 used OEM...
A little late, but I have been off the grid! Same thing, taco's and beer. We had a lot of people on trips the past few weeks, we can catch up and go over the events and start to plan for the VA trail ride and Fall Crawl.
I am sure there...
Had a really great weekend. Family campers ran bald mountain forest roads and some other random roads that dead ended. Found some really nice views and enjoyed some mud holes. Got Lauren to drive through one to snap a pic and it was much deeper...
More prep on 40.
Got rear wheel wells trimmed on the rear to be sure they do not rub
Heat shield for shock
Seam sealed fenders
Made anti inversion shackles for front.
Back on the 62 on a random night to myself. Got some coolant lines cut and loosely mocked up. Will figure out tidiness later on after electrical. Also hit the DMV today and competed the titling after going through the abandoned vehicle process...
Planning on August 16th early morning until around 2-3pm getting as much done on the 62 as I can. I plan to focus on shifter linkage for the transmission, welding up some patches on the interior, and maybe routing coolant lines (or at least...
Take two?

What a showing! Enjoyed the camaraderie and hard work folks put it.
Special thanks to @Beach80, @jmurunner , and @doseman. Seems like every time I turned around they were jumping in and making something happen.
Big thanks to @matzell for...
Thanks everyone who came out today. It was a good showing and we got a lot done, even though it might not look like it. Hope everyone learned something.
Getting slightly distracted. 07 TC. Guy offered to trade it for a motorcycle I was trying to get rid of. 137 on the clock and runs as is. 5spd. Working to change fluids, brakes, and a couple other small items.
I’ve been slowly chipping away at the to-do list over the past couple of weeks. So far we have removed the factory running boards, adjusted the front torsion bars, installed a diff drop, replaced all 4 shocks, installed OME rear coils, added...
Alright so still need to do touch up and will add another coat but so far this is how the gx is looking. I’m glad I went with using a foam roller instead of of the super texture one monstaliner provided. It give it sort of a orange peel look vs...
