What year and is it carburetored ? If it has a carb chek your adjustment on the linkage that drives the pump squirt. If it is to wide you will get a stumble when you twist the throttle. Misfire can be bad plug, bad wire or cracked distributor cap. Not knowing the year and engine it's hard to...
Metal lines with fule in them tend to absorb heat, causing vapor lock in certain climates. The rubber fuel line is not a problem if you install top quality fule hose & calmps. These are on Amazon.
House of Hose (Spokane) wil build any hose with any end for about $25. I just had (2) 20" 10MM/1.25 MA & 10MM/1.0 FE hoses made for $49 but I think you can use 4Runner hoses they are same
The 69 has 12MM/1.25 hose from the block splitter (at the brake shoe backplate) for 2 brake cylinders (both front wheels) to the brake line bracket (clip mount) 9MM/1.0 end, across the front frame member to the other front wheel hose (9MM/1.0 end), then up to the master cylinder. These are...
I used a 1994 4runner booster brake on mine. I made an aluminum bracket that steps over the body stiffening brace and everything else bolted straight up. I eliminated the clutch cylinder and petal as I'm running a 6 speed toyota automatic 4WD trans w/ 2W & 4W high/low range. The Hilux turbo...
Do the compression test at a minimum, if the head gasket failed you may have water/oil mix into the exhaust port via the valve. Water will not compress and if it goes into the cylinder you can pop the top of a piston or worse.
Did you do a compression check on the motor? That much oil would make me think It has a cracked head or rings. Did the machine shop magniflux the head when they had it ?? Is there a lot of compression in the bottom end? I've seen oil blowing out of the dip stick tube when it had a cracked heab...
(#1) If it is floating around and not secure I would remove it, if not leave it but use a filter before the carb.
Common sense says the slots are there for a reason on the needle valve seat. If you don't have anything between the fuel coming into the carb other than the screen then see #1...
That larger brass fitting next to the float mount is the float seat. The jet is the smaller one down and to the right of the plunger. Both can be unscrewed out of the carb body and I would check both for trash and see if the jet is clear. The jet has pin holes in it to regulate the volume of...
The part you pictured is the needle seat for the incoming fuel, the float pivots on those two holes and holds the float needle & wire keeper to shut off the incomin gas when the float is level to the carb body. Yes you can unscre it just beware of the neelde seat at the bottom of it, dont scar...
I hve farm equipment that is old and tired. My tractor, my dump truck (international) and my 212 CAT grader all have hte issue of bleeding back. I put one of the above pumps inline and wired it ti the ignition switch on position. When I got to them after months of sitting I turn the key on for...
