Figured it out, there was a cable breakage near the connector > seemingly the blower sometimes stopped while driving > no cooling of the resistor by the air flow in the ventilatie system > overzetting > damage...
To my great annoyance the new OEM blower resistor burned through after less then one year. It is the "low speed cool". Can anybody tell me what the reason could be?
