That hard line is notorious for rusting through, a friend near me runs a shop that specializes in Toyotas and he says they replace them often. It's a poor design, there's a bend that creates a low spot on the hard life, and water just sits there...

Yeah, I've read several places that you should always disconnect the negative terminal if doing work on a vehicle, or first if removing the battery. I'll usually do that, zip tie it to something else, and put a rag over the terminal.

They're only soft copper, very easy to bend. But eventually they do fail, so you need to keep spares on hand.

I've never seen a need to do anything, until pads or rotors are needed. Front calipers are not the floating style, no sliding pins. They are bolted directly to the knuckle. Rear calipers have boots on the pins. It's not like the silicone grease...

My new favorite tool: Been working on swapping out rusty/crusty hardware on the Tacoma. Broke one skid plate bolt, so I got this thing out. First time using it, it works exactly as they say it does. You put the coil around the head of the bolt...

I'll have to check the slips, I think I still have them, but yeah I know it was high 90's by the time I hit the traps. I kept into it once to hit the triple digits, since the stopping lane was really long. New England Dragway in Epping NH. You...

I've had my 200 up to 100 once, it was on a 1/4 mile dragstrip, so totally legal. Yes I took my Cruiser to a drag race once. It was fun but won't be doing it again.

Doing a replacement of the aux battery that I have installed on a Slee tray behind the PS headlight. When I pulled the old battery, I found the 7 year old Slee tray is getting rusty. And so it goes... out came the sand blaster today. I pulled...

Just under 3-3/4", this is right at the midpoint of the second row windows. I love mine, have had it loaded up with lumber many times. Will probably be getting one for my Tacoma as well. EDIT: oops, I just realized you needed a different...

Can't answer your question, but I have a couple Record hand planes, and they are super nice. They make good stuff.

Please post how this works out. Others might benefit from learning about a decent shop in the area.

Drawer content: I'm looking for an easy way to make a decent cup of coffee from my tailgate. No Keurig crap, thanks.

$250 to change the rear diff fluid is shameful. I've also heard good things about Lex Connection. Do NOT go to Lexus of Manchester, in Bedford.

Agreed that YouTube Music is inconsistent. Just this evening I got in my truck to come home, no track info. Had to stop to get gas, now it's fine. Weird.
    • KLF
What phone? Have you tried a different music source? I don't have the display in the cluster, just on the big screen. Occasionally mine will also stop showing the track info, but the music is still playing. I've also found changing to a...

I’ve never heard of this brand. I would have one concern that is worth confirming: It looks like this design bolts to the factory tow points and frame horns only. Want you want here is a clevis that goes through the ends of the frame so it...

The TCC bumper looks like a "no cut"? I see holes for the parking sensors, but looks like you lose the headlight squirters? What are those tiny lights at the extreme ends? Turn signals?

You mean this button? Should already have one. It can be difficult to find (ignore the little external speaker on the left, that's for my 2M radio)

I contacted TJM directly, and nobody is importing them anymore. Tariffs and shipping costs, low sales, nobody wants to take the risk. I sooo wanted one.
    • KLF
I really like this, a LOT. I was hoping to get a TJM but I'm afraid that is no longer possible. Hoping to see more photos of how it is installed.
