Luke got the Patrol reassembled and it’s back to being a runner - and this time on all 6 cylinders. The new Nissan forklift distributor replaced the original crusty one that was the source of our problems.

Work trip took me up that way so I’ll plan to pop in tonight.

That tape was used to check alignment and centering the roll bar to the seat and steering wheel, along with hold the notched bar in place.

Shout out to @Cirbo. Days from moving and with a half-packed shop, he nonetheless helped Luke this weekend tackle a roll bar project on his speedster. We never would have figured it out. Stay tuned for future race updates.

Cool area. Luke and I were recently up there with the 40 & Patrol. Did Fenwick Mines Road (easy rating), camped at The Pines, and saw the entrance to Pitts (difficult rating). Not much cell signal in that area so plan accordingly.
