Let it be known I did not want another dog after Bella passed and as I had mentioned, our golden retriever was seriously depressed over her loss. Seven months later I caved in and we adopted A black lab…seriously a great dog… she does it all. She...
I posed the question of whether anyone had seen a repository of information on OE hardware manufacturers and approximate manufacturing timelines. Not much response. But while the majority of folks are content to reassemble their projects with...
Decided it was time for a pupper dog road trip
So we loaded Taco and Opal up and headed west to meat Junebug and Bear for some adventures
Got to say this was a solid spot to break down and spend camp for a couple days
K9 Roof Rack arrived and towers fabricated
Also decided on adding a Baja light bar under the roof rack to take up some of the space between the soft top and the rack.
Bought a new to me 21 LC. Former owner had already replaced the cup holders with the BH3D insert. Thought I would post pictures in case anyone is still coming to this thread to get ideas. Pictures show YETI brand cups of various sizes and how...
It's a medical fact: Americans have larger bladders, and therefore need better cupholders to accommodate our big gulps and super-sized drinks.
But in all seriousness, the stock cupholder can't hold anything upright. If I have to put my hand...
When you spend hours in a vehicle on a regular basis a quality cup holder that keeps your large yeti or nalgene from spilling or flying about the cabin because the horribly designed cup holders suck then it makes complete sense. The fact that...
Thanks Dunbar! Tried to pull straight up holding the lid and it won't budge. Instead, the entire console flexes with it. Any other tips? Like Heckraiser, my BH3D cupholder is just coffee table decoration right now.
My main complaints with the...
Pull straight up. No clips to break or anything else. Put it in a zip lock and onto a shelf in the garage never to be seen again. The BH3D is an excellent upgrade and worth the price.
I'm leaving the final decision to Jeremiah and Alex (fabrication wizard) once they fab the 3-link front suspension. They're the experts, and so far have NOT suggested/done anything I don't agree with.
This weeks update: cage and soft top frame are done. Gas tank modified to clear the new transmission hump. Rear suspension is done. Body work also done (except the front fenders - still deciding on OEM fender vs tube like metal tech). Getting...
Golden Retriever
I took this picture last month for her fourth birthday.
She has also failed to retrieve any gold for us to this day. Color me disappointed.
Actually a licensed engineer, but haven't seen a Dissent rack in person - if it's the same strength/flexibility as a Front Runner, no comparison with a round bar. Thanks...
Do you think your aluminum c-channel load bars are more flexible than a set of round yakima style bars? Curious about the number of bars I'll actually need (have 2 currently on my rack).
I now understand that dogs are “more aware” than we give them credit for. Our dog was put down on one end of our family room where he laid on a blanket. Our other 2 dogs will not walk through that area and will go out of their way to avoid it...
I am so sorry for your loss. And I understand where you're coming from as to the timing of the decision.
When we had to have our first Lab put down (also at our house) our vet, when he saw him, said, "Oh my." I took that to mean that maybe...
When we lost one of our Goldens at home unexpectedly, our other one showed obvious stress followed by separation anxiety. I made the decision to bring another pup into the home, against our Vet's recommendations. Took 2 days and they were best...
Believe evap tubes were removed at the previous shop.
More progress - engine placement corrected, and metal fab to clear the atlas almost completed....
I got a call yesterday about an at risk male cane corso in Virginia. Of course I jumped into my rig and drove the 584 miles there. Just waiting on tomorrow morning to meet him and take him to his new home. Update to follow....
