PHH, FHH and new heater control valve installed. This is my 4th 80 replacing the PHH on. 3 of my own and 1 of my brothers. The first one I did the "right" way by keeping the metal pipe with the new short piece of heater hose to the head...
Ha. Not sure yet. I don't have any coolant or a battery in it currently because I'm going to do the FHH, PHH and heater valve next. Likely will start that tmrw.

Crank seal and oil pump cover seal today. I'll button it back up tomorrow. 3rd time I've used the "bump the starter" method to remove the crank bolt with an old 3/4 ratchet on an 80. Works like a charm. For the oil pump cover screws, I clean...

Any service, repairs, or replacements done before the issue started?
I'm not a parts expert but FWIW 84340-06010 looks to be the current...
New rig to me (November 24) and it's been solid. Finally was on a road to kick on cruise and just got the 5 flashes. No changes at all but new non-standard non-LED headlight bulbs last month.
I've gone through all of the tests wit the 2 blinking lights then 3 blinking lights and passed all of those and even replaced my known-good cruise control actuator with my brother's unit from his '97. No difference. Just the flashing cruise...
