Did 900 miles driving by the end of tomorrow I don’t know how many miles flying about 6000 or so. Got it back, got it in the shop for the winter. Brakes are still locked up so moving it in wasn’t great but it’s there. Will adjust them some to try...
Those fuel lines are shot! Start by replacing all the rubber lines including the return line from injector rail back to the pump. Change the fuel filter and drain to at black cylinder in your pic(it’s a fuel water separator) as for fuel not going...
Will take some more pictures later on my day is already acouple hours behind. Couldn’t get it started for a bit then wasn’t going in gear. Then front brake locked trying to load on trailer. The good news is more parts are there than I thought...
Drove the BJ74 project to work today. After getting the fuel lines sorted out she's driving much better. I always see this truck parked in the same spot every morning. In my town we dont have a lot of cool imports. In a sea of 5th gen 4runners...
6 full days since a WDYD post? I'll go.
Just DD this thing sans FRP while we still have sun.
half doors made a big difference in exhaust smells. Still get all the other outside smells but less my exhaust smells.
Awesome! Glad it’s in the Family.. just keep plugging along as they will test your patience and wallet😂 . Driving my LV is by far the most fun of my cruiser fleet. Can’t wait to see it get back on the road! Good luck.

It’s staying here on mud. Going to grab on the 27th deposit is made and then see what it is and start looking for parts. Just what I didn’t need.
Will need tail lights for sure as they are gone and not included. Will be a resto mod for sure fix...
Been a while! Life's been busy, but last week I took my buddy Miguel out across Utah and Nevada into the Lost Sierra in the Troopcarrier. 2,600 miles round trip. Zero issues. Unless you could third gear, 45 mph up all those Basin and Range...
This is it. I have had 4 runs to work out the bugs and get enough seat time its time to get it everything we have. We have tested different tire pressures, adjusted some weight for stability and got the timing where I hope at the higher RPM's...
Seals were received and are an incredible reproduction. Very high quality. And thank you for the tips on install. My doors are off with hinges attached to door. The glue trick may prove to be the ticket. Thank you again for doing these...
It is 32" wide. I don't need any metal under the cabinets. The build will be similar to my 80. All metal construction. Frames are 1/2" square steel. Cheap and light. All you need is a welder and a grinder to hide your ugly welds. Galley on...
Got some new wheels for the bj74 project aka patina turner.
Truck came with 75 splits basically as rollers. Cool looking but too narrow and don’t want to run tires with tubes.
I was on the hunt for fj cruiser steelies specifically since I’ve...
