A great start @beanTime -- and this has established that the basic functions of the AHC and TEMS systems are capable of working. Continued maintenance is well worth the trouble.
Black foamy fluid is exactly what should be expected where there...
Happy griots 3n1 user here. I’m not a very frequent detailer, though I do try to do a deep wash and clay bar annually, every two years at worst. Griots cheap and lasts for 3 months+.
Combined with a protective dirt layer it seems to do pretty...
I started using a foam cannon about 2 weeks ago. This one I found on Amazon for $30.00 locks on to my pressure washer. You need a special soap which I found at Walmarts for $4.00 a gallon. Spray it on, wait 5 minutes and spray off. I’m happy to...
Got a 2021 Y with 100k miles clocked driven in the northeast. Zero issues with it and drives in the snow great. I’m absolutely amazed there has been no problems with this car.
No other self driving car is close to FSD.
JUST AN UPDATE. My father Model Y Launch Edition has driven him everywhere with ZERO intervention since March 8 2025. He is 89 years old, about to turn 90. Model Y has given him freedom. That is beyond...

You’re on the right track. The new tires and rotor resurfacing will fix the issues, IMHO. One thing to consider, if they have to remove the rotors to resurface, maybe just replace them? The OEM rotors are relatively inexpensive.
New Land Cruiser and LX ‘s usually have brakes replaced before 40k miles and I would assume tires soon after. You will need to learn how to coast 😀 It’s certainly not a Rav.
Brendan, I sold my 2014 Lexus LX570 but removed the rear tailgate light before selling it, and plan to install it in a 2018 LX570. Just checking if the install is the same. Thanks.
Yes. And a generator. Love my Ford.
My father loves his Model Y (2026). Has not had to touch the steering wheel in 4 months of ownership except to park the car in a parking lot.
