It was just under $300 with the textured 3M Vinyl. They used knifeless cut tape to outline the shape, applied the adhesive vinyl, and then pulled up the tape to cut the shape. It's pretty slick. I've done countless vinyl applications before but...

Thanks for the tip. I had mine done by Crawlarado, but he is no longer doing them and the solar panel is outside of my need/use case. Mind sharing how $$ KUTTEK charged you? I may have to go that route..Thanks.

Where did you get the blackout hood panel? The guy I got mine from years ago no longer sells/makes.

I had a ton of backlash as well, esp at the rear diff. Did not measure but I'd say at least 10* of +/- rotation at the flange with no movement at the tires with the rear in the air. I went forward with my project anyway b/c I already had the DS...

In my limited experience (sample size=1) when I had my DS rebuilt by a local, it did fix the chirping Toyota UJ that had 260K on it. Toyota UJ's were not used in the rebuild. Unfortunately, the "rebuilt" DS did not cure a drive line NVH issue...

Did you use Toyota U joints?

Since 65K (now at 260k) I chased clunks (etc.) by driveshaft greasing and pumping (for years) while doing all (I mean ALL) the bushings and mounts as well as the Toyota CV and flanges. No joy. I Replaced both driveshafts (F&R) with toyota...

For Serra, Yes (toyota parts website). For Ourisman, I used the link they provided (dealership).

Ourisman (was McGeorge). Edit: Just validated steering rack 44250-60050. Ourisman is cheaper (by $30) but shipping is not free ($58). FYI
