Your OEM lights will operate as intended. Daytime running lights and fire as a high beam. The projector gets the power to drop the shield via the spitter wire thats connected to the OEM high beam connector. I hope this makes sense.

You should order grey sealant and I would select a high bulb kelvin. 4000k bulbs will severely limit your light output. The kit that I've been putting together for years has 6000k bulbs and they are pure white. If you don't want 6000 increase...
